TonBo AI ("we", "our", or "us") operates an AI-powered productivity application offering writing assistance, translation, image analysis, and code generation tools. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide our services:

  • Account information: Email address and username when you register.

  • AI conversation content: Text and images you submit to our AI tools in order to generate responses. This content is processed to deliver the service and is not used for training AI models without your explicit consent.

  • Usage data: Anonymized information such as feature usage frequency, to help us improve the app experience.

  • Device information: Device type and OS version, used for compatibility and crash diagnostics only.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and operate the AI productivity tools you request.

  • To manage your account and authenticate your identity.

  • To process in-app purchases and maintain your Coin balance.

  • To send service-related notifications (e.g., purchase confirmations).

  • To improve app performance and fix bugs using aggregated, anonymized analytics.

4. AI Conversation Data

Content you submit to AI features (writing, translation, image analysis, code tools) is sent to our servers and, as described in Section 6 below, to the third-party AI model provider needed to generate a response. We do not sell or rent your conversation content, and we do not use it to train our own models without your explicit consent. Conversation history is stored on your device and our servers until you delete it or close your account (see Section 7). You may delete individual conversations, or your entire conversation history, at any time from within the app.

5. In-App Purchases & Payments

All in-app purchases (Coin packs) are processed entirely through Apple's App Store payment infrastructure. We do not collect, store, or have access to your credit card number, bank account, or any other payment credentials. We only receive a confirmation of successful purchase from Apple, along with the product identifier, to credit your Coin balance.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:

  • AI model providers (required to deliver the service): Depending on which model you select, your conversation content (including any text or images you submit) is transmitted to the corresponding third-party AI provider solely to generate your requested output. We currently integrate with the following providers, each acting as an independent data controller for the content it processes:

    We periodically add or remove providers as our model lineup changes; this list reflects the providers integrated at the time of the "Last updated" date above. Each provider processes the content you send under its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review. We do not control, and are not responsible for, how these providers handle data once received.

  • Service providers: Infrastructure and analytics providers who assist in operating our platform, bound by confidentiality obligations.

  • Legal requirements: If required by applicable law or valid legal process.

7. Data Retention

Account information is retained for as long as your account is active. Conversation data is retained until you delete it or close your account. Anonymized usage analytics may be retained indefinitely in aggregated form. Upon account deletion, your personal data is removed within 30 days.

8. Data Security

All data transmitted between the app and our servers is encrypted using industry-standard TLS. Account passwords are stored using one-way hashing. We conduct regular security reviews to protect your information.

9. Children's Privacy

TonBo AI is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

10. Your Rights
